Matias Agafonovas develops a practice grounded in an economy of means, bringing together painting, sculpture, drawing, and installation. He creates hybrid works from salvaged materials discovered through his wanderings. His practice is based on the collection and assembly of found elements, tracing a sensitive cartography of the places he passes through and the chance encounters that punctuate them.
