Born in 1978 in Baia Mare, Romania
Lives and works in Cluj-Napoca, Romania
Through the seemingly eclectic choice of his images, he strives to achieve iconicity in a world dominated by a multitude of images. Anxiety, violence and oppression have always been important themes in Suciu’s work. He grew up under a Communist dictatorship, which led him to take an interest in how images work and how they can be manipulated.
