Anish Kapoor is renowned for bringing the visible and the invisible into conflict: reflective forms that distort space, bottomless voids that momentarily throw us off balance, and intense pigments that completely absorb light. The exhibition highlights the intriguing tension in Kapoor’s work: we feel the impact of his sculptures with our whole bodies, yet at the same time there is something at play that eludes our gaze.
