Nina Jayasuriya’s artistic practice reflects on our use of everyday objects,  the significance of sacredness, and the re-appropriation of heritage as part of an ongoing construction of intimate environments and personal myths.

 

Having graduated with honours from the Beaux-Arts de Paris in 2023, she won the Prix Sisley 2024 and was part of various group shows including Temps Z at Mennour, Paris (2024); Ailleurs est ce rêve proche (…), Magasin CNAC, Grenoble (2023); Autohistorias, Palais des Beaux-Arts, Beaux-Arts de Paris (2023).
