Nina Jayasuriya’s artistic practice reflects on our use of everyday objects, and on the significance of sacredness and the reappropriation of heritage, as part of an ongoing construction of intimate environments and personal myths.
Having graduated with honours from the Beaux-Arts de Paris in 2023, she won the Prix Sisley 2024 and was part of various group shows including Temps Z at Mennour, Paris (2024); Ailleurs est ce rêve proche (…), Magasin CNAC, Grenoble (2023); Autohistorias, Palais des Beaux-Arts, Beaux-Arts de Paris (2023).
